Low, medium and high-voltage power cable in one XLPE range
Our XLPE power cables cover rated voltages from 0.6/1 kV up to 26/35 kV, including the common 6/10, 8.7/15, 12/20 and 18/30 kV classes. From 3.6/6 kV upward the cores carry semi-conductive conductor and insulation screens plus a copper tape screen, so the electric field stays inside the insulation. A 26/35 kV cable is the highest-voltage power cable in this range; for 66 kV and above please send your project specification and we will confirm feasibility before quoting.
Copper or aluminium conductor, armoured or unarmoured
YJV uses copper conductors and YJLV aluminium conductors, from 1.5 to 800 mm² in 1 to 5 cores. For direct burial or where the cable needs mechanical protection, choose the steel-tape or steel-wire armoured versions described on our armoured power cable page.
