Nigeria’s Rural Electrification Agency, known as the REA, has officially endorsed Renewable Energy Forum Africa 2026. The endorsement reinforces the forum’s role as a leading platform for stakeholders working to expand renewable energy access across the continent.

Abba Aliyu, Managing Director of the REA, will join the event as a keynote speaker on 25 November. His participation is expected to provide valuable insight into Nigeria’s electrification priorities, emerging project opportunities and the role of renewable energy in the country’s energy transition.

The REA is at the forefront of expanding energy access in Nigeria. It supports electrification in unserved and underserved communities and creates opportunities across mini grids, off grid solar, distributed energy, storage and project development.
