XinYa Power Cables's Projects XinYa power cables projects, power cable project documentation, IEC 60502 cable supply, medium voltage cable project, cable commissioning test records Our successful cases studies included: Guangzhou Baiyun Station, Asia’s largest railway hub; Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport; Shenzhen Bao’an Airport; China Southern Power Grid; State Grid; key national railway projects; the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge; the Guangzhou Pazhou International Exhibition and Convention Center; and the Shenzhen International Convention Center, among more than 1150 major power engineering projects.
A power cable project is decided twice: once on paper, when the specification is written, and again in the field, when commissioning tests answer it. XinYa projects follow one working pattern across every sector — the cable is defined by the application, and each decision is documented against a standard rather than a habit. The application spectrum covers urban and industrial secondary distribution in 0.6/1 kV cable to IEC 60502-1, direct-buried runs specified with tape or wire armour against the trench's real load direction; medium-voltage networks from 12/20 to 30/36 kV under IEC 60502-2, where screens and partial-discharge-limited testing define the class; renewable energy installations, with EN 50618 cable carrying the DC side and medium-voltage collection systems stepping the output to the grid; transport hubs and public buildings where EN 50575 Euroclass declarations and low-smoke-halogen-free compounds govern what may be installed; and mining and heavy industry, where armour selection, gland load paths and fire performance answer conditions no building code regulates. Each project file carries four records. The calculation basis: load schedule, prospective fault current, grouping and ambient derating per IEC 60287 and IEC 60364, voltage drop within limits, short-circuit withstand through the adiabatic equation. The factory evidence: conductor resistance against IEC 60228, production-length spark testing, drum-level high-voltage withstand, 10 pC partial discharge on screened construction, hot-set results per IEC 60811. The delivery trail: printed metre markings, drum numbers tied to lot routine records, joint counts within order terms. The site acceptance: sheath integrity testing, continuity measurement, VLF withstand and partial-discharge monitoring on medium-voltage commissioning. A project list without its records is a name-checking exercise; the engineering value lives in the file, because a file shows the actual conditions a cable system was proved against — and those conditions repeat across every future route.
